Hippocrates Fellowship Program
Philotimo Hippocrates Fellowship Program are offered to Postgraduate, and Healthcare Students in the city of Hippocrates, Larissa, Greece.
As a Fellow of Philotimo’s Hippocrates Shadowing Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive educational experience that incorporates lectures, problem-based learning, operating room observation, and standardized-patient evaluation. The open door policy of the Hippocrates Fellowship Program allows post graduate and graduated students to engage with, and been inspire to become a truly knowledgable and compassionate physician.
You will have the opportunity to integrate multiple disciplines, combining scientific knowledge with exposure to clinical setting within the first day of your fellowship program, as you will quickly gain access to the “real-world” of medicine.
The Hippocrates Fellowship Program use cutting-edge medical equipment in a state-of-the-art university hospital with the supervision of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece, the city of Hippocrates.
The Philotimo Hippocrates Fellowship Program will be tailored for those in the path to career in medical and health professions. Our approach entails selecting the strongest applicants to serve as fellows in Greece for the upcoming program period of October 9 to 20, 2023.

What to expect
- Schedule to work Monday though Thursday usually (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) 5+ hours a day (over time depending on emergency)
- Surgical and non-surgical departments.
- Community Pharmacy avail.
- Compounding Pharmacy avail.
- Expected to comply with Greece’s rules and attitudes
Excursions
- A cultural tour around the city of Hippocrates, Larissa
- Pay attribute to the tomb of Hippocrates and take the Hippocratic Oath.
- Two Excursions: Visit to Mount Olympus, waterfall and city of Dion. 2) Meteora, Trikala and Asclepious.
