Joining Philotimo Med Abroad is easy! Just follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Online Application: Start by filling out our online application form.
  2. Schedule a Video Interview: Connect with us in a short video call to discuss your goals and answer any questions.
  3. Select Your Program and Secure Your Spot: Choose the program that fits your aspirations, and confirm your enrollment with a deposit.

What happens once you enroll?

  • You get confirmation of your internship within 24 hours
  • You get an email and a call from us welcoming you to the program
  • We start planning and building your internship
  • The remaining of your internship fees (less your initial US$500 deposit payment)
  • Our fees are transparent with no other hidden fees or extra charges
 

Visa Information

  • You must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months prior to arrival.
  • Citizens of USA, Canada,and EEA are exempted from a visa. See a comprehensive list of countries whose nationals are subject to or exempt from visa obligations here.

Visa Rules

  • You must apply in person at the Greek Embassy in your country of citizenship or long-term residence.
  • Philotimo Med will provide you with an invitation letter and sponsorship for entry to Greece (if applicable).
  • The visa will be valid from the start of the Philotimo Med program until its conclusion.
  • Schengen Visa (Type C – Tourism) / ETIAS
  • After acceptance into the program, a deposit of $500 is required. Please note that 50% of this deposit is non-refundable and covers administration fees. If your visa is denied, the deposit will not be refunded.

  • The $500 deposit will be deducted from the full cost of the internship program. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the program begins, or as soon as your visa is approved.
